Status: paused since July 2026. The pipeline works end to end — briefings
generate, shows stream, and both the iOS and Android apps play them — but it
never launched past its waitlist. Parked, not abandoned.

A: Not yet. Development has been paused since July 2026 and it never launched

Q: How does Orin handle private data?
A: There is no ad model and no data sale — the product is the briefing, not the
   listener. No interest profiles, no public training on private mail.

Q: What is Orin built on?
A: A Rust streaming core with Bun and TypeScript services around it, and native
   apps on both platforms: SwiftUI on iOS and Kotlin on Android, at feature
   parity.

Q: Where did Orin come from?
A: It started as Receipt AI — AI summaries printed on thermal receipt paper at
   7 a.m. The printer worked; the idea deserved audio.
